Forever In Dreams under cloud following Sprint Cup

Trainer Aidan Fogarty accounts his star filly Forever In Dreams to have scoped following her campaign in the Sprint Cup at Haydock.
After winning a Listed decoration in the Merseyside venue in May, the girl of Dream Ahead was snapped up by the Phoenix Ladies Syndicate before her run in the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot – and did her new owners proud with a tremendous effort to finish next to Martyn Meade’s Advertise.
She left her first competitive appearance since but ended a disappointing 10th of 11 runners supporting Kevin Ryan’s Hello Youmzain, who was one place behind In hindsight at the Royal meeting.
“She scoped badly when she arrived home, so at least we have a reason,” said Fogarty.
“The very first matter Billy (Lee) stated following the race was that she sensed somewhat flat, which can be unlike her, as she normally travels well.
“She also played up a bit from the parade until the racewhich she doesn’t usually do, so maybe she knew more than we ever did.
“She had been fine straight following the race, but when we scoped her at home on Sunday that it wasn’t correct, so she is on the simple list.
“We’ll see just how she is, but she is at the Foret in France and she can run there if we are pleased with her.”
